About Papa's Games

This site is an index of the 17 browser games Flipline Studios made around Papa Louie: fourteen restaurant sims released between 2007 and 2018, and the three side-scrolling platformers the character started out in.

The games were built in Flash. Flash was removed from every browser at the end of 2020, which is why so many links to them now go nowhere. The copies here run on AwayFL, a Flash runtime written in JavaScript — the game data is the original, the player around it is not, and nothing needs to be installed.

There is no account system, no download, and no upload of your save anywhere: each game keeps its progress in your own browser’s storage on your own device.

Who made the games

Every game listed here was made by Flipline Studios, an independent two-person studio in Ohio. Papa Louie, the shops, the customers and all the artwork are theirs. This site is run by fans, is not affiliated with or endorsed by Flipline, and makes no claim to their work. If you like the games, their current titles are on their own site and on the app stores.
